I am looking to possibly buy this rifle but I am curious how well it will suit a leftie. I see where someone in this forum who was left handed had issue with the gas blow-by and was hoping some other lefties had experience with this rifle.

Thanks

A new member here just go one and just so happens to be a lefty. He reported to have some issues with brass hitting him in the face lol. I'll let him speak for the rest...

Lol , yea man thats the only issue I have with the rifle, Everything else is pretty good, just make sure when you get it (if you do), be careful it will leave half circles on your cheek. :) Or just be a little further from your scope you will be fine. Or rig a brass catcher for it which I may do.

My uncle and I both received our new FNAR's on Friday and we shot them yesterday. He is left handed and I noticed some of the brass was going inside his jacket that was half zipped. I watched closely and noticed most of the time the ejected brass would pass just over his shoulder and go inside his jacket and down his back. He also had one occasion where an ejected round burned his upper lip as it was being ejected. Once he zipped his jacket up a little higher things got better but the brass was still either hitting his shoulder or just passing over it.

It is not left handed friendly but what semi auto rifle is that has a scope mounted on it is?? Despite this he still loves the rifle and couldn't be any happier. I can say the same for mine as well.
