:? Anyone else seen this tactical rifle yet?
Based on the Browning sporting rifle BAR in .308, but with a tactial stock and 20-rnd detachable magazine.
FNAR's will be on display at the SHOT show, but Shotgun News Jan 20 issue has an article.
Looks great. Can't wait to get one or two. 8)

No mistake, the FNAR is not the SCAR.
The FNAR is a .308 tactical version of the Browning BAR sporting rifle with a detachable magazine and pistol grip stock with adjustable cheek piece. I'm sure more info will be available after the SHOT show opens. Seems the Shotgun News has the scoop on the FNAR. Their article includes pics.

The FNAR is hardly a puny M16, just wait more info will be out soon.
Check out the Jan 20th issue of Shotgun News if you can.

Looks nice. Did the pistol grip bother anybody else? Looks kind of uncomfortable to me. The name though, seriously? It's impossible to pronounce that in a way that doesn't sound ridiculous.

What do they cost, and when do they come out?
