Definitely a good deal. I'm just not a big fan of the stainless slide......

I probably would of picked that all black one if it would of been available.

gotta tell ya ,i put both styles together in hand and compared. the black slide is what i wanted till i seen it. it has that cheap ,no wear chalky look. like sigs . looks as if it will rub off in a month. i did not hesitate to go with the stainless. it's much nicer. it's a flat tone stainless that will last a long time and still look newq. i'll take a all black gun anytime over a two tone but not this time. the melonite is garbage.

mIKe4guns, as to the finish on black slide models, "looks like" and "does" are two different things.

I assure you the finish on the black models does not rub off.

I don't know where you came up with this, but you are way off base.

Too much time on airsoft guns perhaps?

I agree with Blitzpig. I have been carrying my FNP40 for a long time, probably nearing the 2 year range, daily, and none of the finish has worn off. Including the range abuse it sees.

Melonite is not a finish, its a treatment to the metal itself.
