Hello. This is my first post, and I thought I'd share with you all I've found in terms of dedicated higher quality holster options as well as ones that just happen to fit. I prefer kydex, so I might be leaving some leather and nylon items out, though there's a little bit of everything here.

For anyone, like myself, who wears their FNP outside the waistband, the Raven Concealment Systems (www.ravenconcealment.com) Ghost Holster for the Springfield XD fits the FNP9 (I have an FNP9M, so I assume the full size would fit as well.) Here's a link for a review I did for this holster on XDtalk.com:

http://www.xdtalk.com/forums/hs2000-sa-xd-accessories/63309-raven-concealment-systems-ghost-holster.html

Other manufacturers that make other types of dedicated holsters for the FNP:

http://www.boomstickholsters.com/_models.htm
http://www.arizonagunleather.com/index.html
http://www.blade-tech.com/Holsters-c-253.html

That's it for now. I'll post more as I find them.

Thanks for the info - I have a Galco FLETCH that I should get anyday - made for the XD but will be used for my FNP. Someoen I know at Galco tried out several holsters for me and claimed that the XD holster fit the FNP the best - now that I see U also are using an XD holster - it should fit pretty well, once I get it.

The Blackhawk Serpa for the HK 9 Subcompact also works well for the FNP-9. I use it on a leg platform an like it.

I got that Galco holster for the XD9. It fits fine. U just have to stretch the strap a little to get it to fit over the hammer.

Well, after stretching the holster for 2 days with the gun in it - that Galco works great.

The label on the box also claims it fits the Xd45 (even though it is an Xd9mm holster) as well as the HK P30...

Well, I have a USPc holster - and it would not work for the FNP.

Now, my 2 P99 holsters work. The rear strap goes around the FNP a little easier - but the holster is a bit snugger on the slide - I could have stretched those for the FNP if I wanted - but then the P99c may have been too loose afterwards.

BUt either a P99 holster or the XD holster will work.

Yes - I have personally gotten 16 or 17 people to buy them since early 2006
Maybe Walther should send you a free one of those to show thier appreciation...

I ordered a Galco Skyops holster this afternoon (made for XD). I am anxious for it to come in. I tried my FN40 in the Galco X Project holster (made for an XD), and it fit great, but was too noisy. My LGS sold the Skyops to me for $69.95. MSRP is $79.95.

UPDATE (31 Dec): Just picked the holster up at the LGS. It fits like a glove! Now I am anxious to see how well it conceals.

Hi i'm also new to this forum and a proud owner of a Fnp-9 black my first gun. I love it I think I have over 1500 rounds through it i shoot it every week since the end of September. For you fans of Kydex, THP Holsters in Mesa, Az, makes custom fit holsters for whatever weapon you have. I've had them make several for my HKs, and will be going back in for some custom holsters for my FN45 and SW M&P 45.

They normally come with a belt loop, but I called and asked a few more questions. They can be made with paddles, and they'll start using tan pretty soon. Right now, they just work in black.

www.thsholsters.com They are co-located at Caswell's.

I have one Galco holster for another pistol, and boy, nothing fits like leather - huh?

Anyway, thought this might help some folks.

Here are some pics of the Safariland holster I got today. Fits tight right now, and has shown some wear on the upper corners of the slide.
