Question for a friend. Does the manual safety also function as decocker?
Yes... All the way up safety on (cock and locked if you wish), middle ready to fire, push down De-cock if hammer is back in SA position. Just a note, on all the FNPs, when using the de-cocker, you still are (lack for a better word) "half" cocked, the hammer doesn't sit on the pin until you pull the trigger all the way back and lower the hammer by hand. No big deal on that part, my self I like it, lets me know that the hammer wont sit on the pin with a round loaded after using the de-cocker (yes there is also a firing pin block, so the hammer getting lets say badly hit, still wont let the pin hit the primmer).forestranger said:Question for a friend.
