Anyone know when FNH is going to start shipping the FNP45 with night sights. I keep asking my local dealer and he doesn't know. Thought about getting one w/out NS and having a gun smith put the sights on, but would rather have the OEM sights. Thanks.

I couldn't wait and bought the non-NS model that is currently availible. I popped some nitesiters in as a temporary fix. I do however plan on buying standard tritium when it becomes availible.

Ameriglo actually lists FNP-45 sights as a new product, but they are not availible yet. Like the FNP-9 and FNP-40, Trijicons will be what FN uses as "factory" night sights for the FNP-45.

I've given up on the night sight version. Instead, I'll be picking up a M&P 45c with night sights and my full size M&P 45 will remain as my night stand gun.

I've been waiting on the FNP-45 with night sights since last August.

when i took my ccdw course a while back, there was 1 357s&w, 1 walther 22lr and 2 M&P and they were both having issues with them (brand new guns) In fact the compact version (both 9mm) firing pin broke on him so he was going to have to send the gun back first time shooting it. I just kinda left a sour taste in my mouth.

More the exception than the rule.

I've probably put more than 500 of them in departments all over Ohio in just the last year, and the issues that get reported on the M&P line is no worse (nor better for that matter) than the Glocks, Sigs and other LE firearms I sell.
