Sights are out there:

Dave Sevigny by Warren Tactical (my current setup)

Trijicon HD night sights (my old setup)

Ameriglo makes multiple types from standard black, fiber or night sights.

I hope that XS and Truglo catch on soon, I'd love to see some TFO's on an FNS

just watched your video on the FNS9 and some of your other videos.

my question...who is almost kinda ripping on the zx10 on 79N?

Not me. every video on that channel is digitally enhanced for entertainment purposes and in no way represent real life counterparts.

I did misspeak on the sight options. I think the factory ones are absolutely fantastic for target shooting. If you want a "squared" rear sight just dremmel off the ramp and bevel the edge so you can rack on your pants etc.

They are the perfect height above the bore center for POA=POI from 7yards-70yrds with the tul 115s all the way up to the 147s. The +P+ buffalo bore 147s I have coming might even stretch it out another 15yards with same poi due to the 19% velocity & BC increase. Will do a test.

Its hard for me to upload vids I have .5mpbs internet out here

Thanks for the link to your video. Nice review and trigger info.

Which recoil spring part number did you order? The parts list I have only lists 1 number for both the 9 and 40.

Did you order through the Service Dept in Arnold MO or FN USA?

Also, I assume the Sevice Dept in Arnold does not accept walk ins, anyone MO guys ever ask?

IIRC it was an FNX40 spring. from midwest gun works? something like that I dont recall who exactly was the seller.

*and someone on this forum in another thread said congrats, i just changed a 40 spring into a 9 by trimming it... INCORRECT. reducing its length changed its dynamic and static lockup tensions even if the spring rate remained the same overall tension when fully compressed, which it didnt. I might even put a poly or rubber bumper in it thats around 1mm thick and see what that does.

I really want another one of these things in teh same config to keep for long term storage.

Interesting video. I also love the pistol, but I also have a long slide model. How did you acquire knowledge on the parts you mentioned being interchangeable? Just need a little more reassurance before I go down this road. Thanks

Midwest lists (1) part number for FNX 40, FNS 9 and FNS 40 recoil spring. FNX-9 is a diff #.
Regardless ofnwhatbtheyblistntheybare Infact different parts, easily discernable by the spring and the total weight difference between them.

i just made sure I could buy all new OEM parts incase I screwed something up but there was even less to this than what I do my my glocks and other guns. The recoil spring I was going to just hack the stock one up but the spare was so cheap I decided to startle that and default back to oem if I had to.
