I picked mine up today, factory test fire date 5/2013.... It was doing the same thing, noticed it right away before even reading this thread. Removed the mag release, used a Dremel and knocked down the two bottom edges..........PROBLEM GONE. FN just needs to mold new mag releases with less material in that area.

I just e-mailed customer service, let them know that I just picked mine up new, have registered it on their website, and that I can easily replace the mag catch myself as opposed to losing my gun for 5 weeks......especially since I haven't shot it yet. I've read that people who have sent in their guns have not had the part filed down by FN's in house gunsmiths, but have instead had the part replaced........which means that they have probably redesigned the part.
