I did the same thing Al3sinth did to his... However, I also beveled the left side as well(since I already had it removed)............................................................................................................... "Curved tip" needle nose pliers make reinstalling the spring much easier.......................................................................................................................................Note to anyone deciding to do this :The spring only functions properly when the hooks angle toward the mag well. Remember this during reassembly, as I had to remove mine twice until I figured it out.
