FNX Grip Ergonomics?

I have handled both and they are very similar in size, but it does have 4 backtraps so it can be smaller or larger if you need it to be. i like the checkering on it, and that is the reason why i bought the FNX over the FNP (felt better to me),

I like the stippling. Helps a lot if your hands are a little damps or wet.

I can see how the stippling would increase grip stability, not to mention it is awesome looking. How is the width horizontally, when looking at the back of the gun. Is it the same width as the FNP 9?

They are almost identical in terms of width if not exactly the same.
