I have an FNX40 and loved shooting it until one day, I noticed that I double-tapped a few rounds. I have shot about a thousand rds and in that time frame, I have double-tapped over 100 times and I do not like doing it. I have searched for a stronger trigger spring and/or a stronger sear spring but cannot find one. Does anyone know who sells stronger trigger springs for this fnx40?

FYI, I have been shooting both revolvers and semi-autos for 40 years and never had this problem with guns made in the 70's, 80's, and 90's. I formerly owned a glock 22c and I fixed it by installing a 12lb trigger to which I loved but hated the feel of the glock.

I've already called the FN Factory and talked to the customer reps there and the parts guy. They knew of no such part(s) to fix my problem.

I think he meant buying an HK.

Now, I'm assuming this is an unintentional double tap? Can't say I've ever had that issue with any of my guns. I always keep the trigger pressed backed and wait to feel the reset before firing again.

This is an unintentional double tap in single action firing. It is very dangerous in my opinion. I am not the only one that has had double taps with my gun. Due to this, I cannot sell it for fear of it hurting someone unintentionally when an inexperienced shooter gets ahold of it. To me, it is just junk laying there. My 1911 does not have this problem nor does my sig p227.
