I have become a fan of FN since i bought my first pistol last fall. An FNS9, followed several months later with a FNS9C.
The FNX45 made my to-do list because it is the only fully ambidextrous 45 ACP on the market.
There are some that have swappable safety or decoker. Some that have ambi safety. But it appears that only the FNX 45 is the only with all controls on both sides.
I'm lefty my wife is righty.
I also don't want to pay north of $1500 for a Kimber.
Hopefully i will find one not long after i get back from this 6hina trip.
(6hina because they seem to flag and Internet traffic with the properly spelled word out of here.
They don't block tapatalk yet. But the did block browser based access to another forum.)

I love my FNX 45. It's a great .45 handgun, even if it is quite bulky. I'm looking to do the opposite, and hopefully my next pistol with be a FNX40, so I can work a smaller version into the carry rotation.

Never expected it would come to this, but I like my FNX45 as much as my 1911s.
I'd consider a 1911 if there was an ambi under $1000. But have found one. And there is something awesome about 15 rounds of 45ACP :D.
I think my wife will really like it too. She has really long fingers and prefers a large grip. She has the large grip pads on her VP9.
