I just learned of this understated badass today. What a tough guy and tough job. He was a British tv celebrity, and there are a lot of youtube videos with his insane job, his advice on preparing for divorce, how to impress women, etc. He attached all of those ladders on the 300 ft. tall stack, built the scaffolding on top, rigged the pulley system, and there are other videos showing how he did those jobs as well. I'm impressed by his fearlessness and steady hands and feet. Anyone who works at heights can appreciate this guys nerve. I climb reactor columns and other large structures in chemical plants at work, but it's all safe and sanitary compared to what this guy did daily.
