Good price for used FS2000?

Hello, new here and this is my first post. I've been wanting to get a SBR sized rifle without all the SBR hoops. I had narrowed it down to either the Tavor or the FS2000. Today I walked into my local fun store and they had a used 2000 for 1450.00. It has a ding on the barrel but other than that it looks to be in good shape. I think this is a good price based on what I have seen on the net, what is the forums opinion? Being used is there anything I should pay extra attention to as far as the gun itself? Thanks

I was getting ready to argue the point until I saw the pic you posted, it looks exactly like that, would have never imagined that it came from the factory like that. Thanks
I suspect that what you are seeing is normal. On the side of the flash hider, you will see an area of bright metal. This is where the flash hider is pinned to the barrel.

The first time I saw this, it looked like a defect also.
Normal, mine is like that. :?

All FS2000's are like that.

Actually I put it on layaway, its a local pawn shop that I frequent literally almost every day to see what's new, they're not a chain store, and I've gotten some really good deals in the past from them. Also when I looked inside the box I realized there was a tactical fore-end in the box, I was pretty stoked when I saw that it came with it, apparently the previous owner had left that in the box when he sold it. When I get it out I will post the mandatory pics.

Good find, you will have to fill us in on how you like it. That seems like a great price!

Pics would be nice. Is it OD, black, a standard, or tactical?
$1450..? That's an amazing deal. Good find, and congrats!

Great find! If I found one for $1450, I'd have bought it on the spot. I just finished paying $2000 for a new one just a few days ago. Most of the used ones I have been seeing at "reasonable" pricing are about $1800.

Here she is, finally got her out! Fortunately she came with a tri-rail already. Took her to the range and literally had a blast, very impressed all around. Put on a Aim Point with a Aim Point 3x magnifier and put about 200 rounds down range, so glad I went with the FS2000. Thanks to all the forum members who took the time to answer my questions.

Looks like one of mine just swap out the Aimpoint rig for EO and then I use a OD AFG on the Tac rail.
That was a smoking deal......

May as well check the pack Generation.... could it be any sweeter ? Never know what guys add for mods.
If it has a " Front " aka auto sear in it .... it's a Gen 1......
I think amongst FS2K fans if it had that in it ..... it would be a once in a lifetime deal !

These things have really skyrocketed in price .... especially with the FN ( no more US supply ).... !
I have seen a Gen 1 pack auction off for over 1000 on Gb a few weeks ago.
