So when I first bought my FNX-45 I didn't have any plans to add a suppressor or optics so I didn't want to spend the extra money on the Tactical version. Well after owning it for a while and having a Burris FastFire III laying around I decided to bring it to a local shop and have them hook it up.

I first had the slide cut to make room from the Burris FastFire. Once the slide was cut it was then cleaned up and coated in Cerakote Tungsten. Then a set of Suppressor Tall AmeriGlo Trijicon Night Sights were added. The trigger, safety/decock lever, slide lock lever, etc. were also coated in Cerakote Tungsten. The frame was then coated in Cerakote Federal Standard Field Drab. The Streamlight TLR-1 was coated in both Tungsten and Federal Standard Field Drab to match the rest of the pistol. All the mag bases were coated in Tungsten.

Looks fantastic. I had the same issue when I got mine. Now I'm wishing I got the tactical. Where did you have the work done.
