Uh...I guess I don't understand your logic here, wizardfitz, but maybe I'm missing something. If I interpret the video correctly, in March of 2013 Dutchess County introduced a measure to repeal the SAFE Act, which was passed by the New York legislature on January 15th, 2013 and signed into law by the Governor that same day. (NY SAFE Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). This fellow, Weiss, rose up to speak against the County measure to repeal the SAFE ACT. And for his speech, good as it was, you think this was a great pro-2nd Amendment speech? What am I missing here? I thought the SAFE Act was the law that 2nd Amendment supporters were opposed to. Wouldn't that make the Dutchess County measure to REPEAL the SAFE Act a "good thing"? And make Officer Weiss' speech be one of support for the anti-gun law? What am I missing here?
