My form4 for my Griffin Armament revolution 9 clear last thur so I put it in the K config and loctited the housing together. I immediately had a end cap strike. I am 100% sure it was the ammo I was shooting as I have run the same platform and barrel on different cans . I thought it would not be a big deal to get the end cap repair/replaced. I email CS on sat because apparently they do not have a phone number I can call. It took about 5 days for them to even respond . All they told me was to make sure the can was tightened, make sure the issue was resolved before changing the cap, and then linked me to their store for a replacement end cap which is not even in stock. If this is how Griffin handles their customer base count me out of any more products from them . Even AAC has a human being I can talk to . Anyone else have to deal with CS from them?

Oh man, I did want to look into their new M4SD can, but if others have had the same type of issue with CS I may drift back over towards silencerco.

I have a octane9, osprey9,sparrow,specwar556,omega and saker762 from silencerco. I would highly recommend any can from them. I have had to send back numerious cans for baffle strikes and other issues. They have a 2-3 day turnaround time and sometimes even pay for shipping both ways. You can call them and they have even send me new parts when I had issues no charge to me . Thought I would give another manufacture a chance

My only interaction with those guys has been positive but it's also been limited to getting input about what cans would be appropriate for what I'm wanting to achieve. I actually have a long email stream back and forth with Austin who is one of the owners and he was really cool with me, even though I know I was asking noob questions and probably could have been irritating. I would also take into consideration that most of their guys are at SHOT this week. I don't know who you corresponded with but I would wait a week after SHOT and then email and ask to specifically talk to Austin and explain your situation. It is irritating that they don't have a number to call but they are a small business at this point so I get why they don't. I don't agree with it but I get it.

Curious as to how you got the end cap strike? I'm a relative noob in suppressors but I haven't had any baffle or end cap strikes yet, and would prefer to avoid it .

If you shoot enough an end cap strike will happen, I've had three so far(two on my 762 and one on my 556) Ammo most times is the cause, sometimes not fully stabilized, sometimes I seen the bullet come apart.

It was ammo that keyholed before probably seated to deep or crimped too hard I should had know better. As far as griifn goes they just told me to keep shooting it and buy a new end cap from their store. I will definitely not be buying anymore griffin cans ever. I cant even imagine if I had a baffle strike how much of a runaround they would give me

With them being at SHOT they are were running a small crew at the shop. Also right before SHOT they were at another show. Overall they are a small company so that is why they don't have a phone number. I'm not sure who you emailed but that isn't typical.

PM me your address and I'll send you one.

This worrisome to me as well. I too has a Rev9 pending from SS, only because I can't buy Octane 9 from SS anymore. Seems I should have stick with SilencerCo.

Wanted to follow up and say that Austin the owner got ahold of me . I sent in the can alongside 2 pistol barrels and they checked everything out. Turns out my HK pistol barrel is bad so that may be the issue or contribute to it. I was a little early to critic the CS as I was taken care of in the end. It was a fast turnaround time (2 days ) from sending my can in . I am happy with the service that they provided to me and has reinstated my confidence in Griffin . As a side note Jeremy from Silencershop took time out of his day to help resolve the issue too and I am extremely grateful we have company (and person) so involved with getting things right

Update:
After shooting the can from getting it back, the booster housing unscrewed itself then stuck. The end cap will also not stay tight on the end no matter how much torque I put on it. I sent Griffin another email and their response was that "I was keeping it too tight" WTF that was the exact opposite that I had when I sent them a email the first time . I soaked and heated the booster and cannot get it to turn either way. only way to get a reach grip is to use the piston to grip the housing inside. I really want to like Griffin stuff buut this is unacceptable even after sending it back. This can keeps falling apart on itself and will ultimately just self destruct at some point with a strike or other. Guess I will just pull the baffles out and use them as spares for my octane 9 (which has been 100+% by the way).

I have never seen or heard of this from anyone. We have ran over 50K rounds through our demos without issue. How is the booster assembly stuck? There isn't anyway for that to happen unless it was cross threaded.

The Griffin Rev can is just like the Octane. When shooting I do check to make sure everything is on tight. I find the downfall of user serviceable cans is that the screw parts tend to walk as the can heats up. Either way, sorry to hear about your GA can.
