Iv got a couple pictures, may have to view them in a new tab to zoom in. they arnt the best pictures. but after a couple to a few thousand rounds I seem to have a groove on the area of the firing pin that the sear pushes the pin back with. Most of the stagyness has gone away, but it still needs polishing. but it feels as if the sear fits into this groove before breaking. very short break after that spot.

a buddy of mine tells me its there for heat dispersal. which i don't understand. does yours have that groove?
