Gun shows?

Hi guys. I have a gun show coming to town next week, and would like to get your input on deals, prices, availability, ect. Are the prices greater or less than the intertubes. In the market for 30 to 50 round adapter, extra mags(of course), ammo(also of course), and possibly a sling. Any help would be most welcome.

No matter what I'm going, cause I like looking at the pretty toys, but advance info would be nice.

Thanks in advance

Depends on the show.

The show that comes to my town sucks.

God to 1 of the large gun shows in Houston or Dallas - then yes, it is DEFINETLY worth it. I've bought several weapons at gunshows - including my PS90. Great deals to be had.

People from other parts of the country deplore gunshows - I am always reading posts about how you can't find any details. Be glad you are in Texas. The shows here have some really good deals.

My newest gun is a Beretta 40 cal PX4. I paid $399 (plus tax) for it!
I kind of figured that, but never been to one to buy. Been to plenty to spend a few hours wandering around and seeing things I might not normally. Already been checking out the internet and the forums here to get an idea about what things are going for.

That exactly what you want to do is get there early and wander around and compare prices, Don't buy the first PS90 you run into as most likely someone else has it cheaper. If you can't find one at a near decent price then it's time to order from the web.
The quality of the shows - and the perception - vary by region. Most shows back in MD were not very good. Out here in Colorado, one of the shows that people run down is much better than back east. I guess the locals don't know how good they have it.

I do not count on shows for gun buying. I make a list of things to look for, and feel lucky if I get even a portion of it. Prices vary across the board. There are deals, but you have to look over the entire show before you start buying. I was looking at the same mount today - $65 from one dealer, $100 from another. Ammo prices today were laughable. Even the mom and pop shops do better.

Haven't seen a lot of PS90's at shows.
