I live in the great state of California and will be heading down to Arizona later this Spring for some shooting competitions out in the desert. With that being said, my SCAR came with a nice little allen bolt bullet button, and didn't come with the original parts to put it back to the traditional mag release.

Does anyone know where I can find, and which parts I need to put it back to the regular mag release button?

Any help would be fantastic!

Thank you!

Thanks. You linked me to the entire enhanced lower receiver correct? I actually ordered their SCAR optimized magazine release but it didn't have all of the components I need. I don't want to replace the whole lower, just need to find missing parts from the factory non-California SCAR.

Thanks again!
Call him and tell him what you need. :?

Thanks. I actually went to my local FN dealer and they had a kit with the parts I need. Tried to charge me $40 for something that came on my rifle before they modified it to be CA legal... Ended up getting the parts for free :)
If you now have the parts to convert it to a regular version does California consider that constructive intent? I'm just curious. Then again it's California so you might have to break the law to see if it against the law.

considering that the radlok is legal I would say no.

Well gents... I've learned a'lot about converting your California compliant SCAR for out of CA use. I'm sure every CA SCAR distributor does it a bit different but if you have any questions on either the fixed folding stock and removal of the bullet button shoot me a PM. Both are pretty easy to solve once you start taking the rifle apart.
