Here are a few pictures of my latest project in progress. The original fore-end was cut and epoxied to a piece of 16g. sheet steel. A rail was then bolted on. Cost of materials (minus grip) = $15. These photos represent 3 hours of work (that includes the drive to the hardware store).
I haven't shot it yet but I can't wait! My feelings towards my FS2000 have just greatly improved, that's how much I like the feel of this new grip.
The construction seems boombproof, I'd be glad give details to anyone who is interested in building their own.
I'll post another photo when the spray paint dries :shock:
