How much is SS192 worth these days? Please don't say "whatever someone is willing to pay". What's an average, not stupid price to buy in, and is it any better for self defense than the more commonly found rounds. Thank you.
My question is why was FN pressured to stop importing 192 if 198 is more powerful? BTW I paid $41.00 a box for 192 off gunbroker a few months back.I on the other hand will not pay more than what I pay for 198. So 198 has leaded primers. I'll be dead before any of my non leaded primer ammo goes bad.
Wrong Grasshopper. It's called 198LF for a reason, it's lead free, 192 is not.198 has lead (limited shelf life) primers, 192 does not!
Because by policy FN only sells the SS198 to MIL/LEO.My question is why was FN pressured to stop importing 192 if 198 is more powerful? BTW I paid $41.00 a box for 192 off gunbroker a few months back.
In your case that's a good thing. Now having Probs with posting Smileys!
Me too. :?wish they were still that price.
My cases of 192 are 2100 round cans, and I got them for $16 a box.
Bring Back The Cheap Ammo!!Once upon a time the 198 was $16 a box too.
many years ago yes.Does $16 a box mean $320 per 1000?
