I have been ooglying over the Cimarron/Uberti 1873 replicas for a long time now.

Specifically I want a 1873 Cattleman (Model P) in 4 3/4" .357 magnum Charcoal Blue. Basically a Colt SAA Peacemaker.

I also want a 'matching' Winchester '73 20" in .357 and Charcoal Blue.

I just found a guy that lives about 200 miles from me that has the NIB pistol... I have butterflies in me belly... I should wait until after taxes are settled... I really don't NEED another gun right now... but it is only 500 bucks... then I would only need to find the rifle... the wife will be mad... maybe I should show some self control... this is one of the guns I was searching for when I bought my PS90... someone may buy it before I do... gas is expensive...

groan...

Looking at CNN just now it would seem likely the gov't will be gifting us with $600-1,200 in a few months, what better way to spend it than a little piece of freedom.

I thought about the 45LC, but I just don't need another caliber to stock up on. 357 is much more common and probably cheaper.
