Police say teenager threatened officer
A 17-year-old Hearne man was arrested after threatening an officer, police said.
Bryan police officers said they were called to Poplar Circle early Wednesday by a woman who said men were throwing rocks at her home and had punched her in the head.
Once police arrived, several people believed to have been throwing rocks began cursing at the officers, police said. When police warned them that they could be arrested for disorderly conduct, the 17-year-old got in a fighting stance and began flexing his muscles, police said.
Police said an officer knocked the 17-year-old backward and placed him in handcuffs.
He was charged with interfering with the duties of a public servant, disorderly conduct and threatening to assault an officer. He remained in the Brazos County Jail on Thursday in lieu of $3,000 bail.
