Traded a used P22 for it and paid $184 more.

This is a rather funky looking gun, as I'm sure many of you are aware.
Feels good in the hand. Breaks down very interestingly.

I'm thinking of replacing the plastic grips with some walnut grips. Opinions?

I will try to post pictures as soon as my batteries recharge.

I found a set (grips) on the internet and hopefully, they'll look good and fit correctly, . . . . but yeah, if all goes well, the "looks factor" should be increased by a huge amount over the black plastic ones. One of the grips has a place where it has a few small gouges, near the bottom. I'll post before and after pics when the grips arrive and I put them on. :?

Okay, I finally got around to getting a better image sharing site.

Here is the P1 as it was when I first picked it up:

And here it is after I replaced the grips with nice Walnut:

I personally think it looks MUCH better with the wood grips. Very exotic looking wood even.

The P1 isn't the BEST shooting gun, but it definitely wins awards in uniqueness.

:D
