[Texas Armadillo]

Here at the office we hired a marketing lady and she requested an IMAC 10.5.2 Leopard, CS3, QuarkXpress, and Office IMAC.

I have never even turned and Apple or Mac on before but I took a stab at laoding he software.

It all loaded except Adobe Acrobat 9. It hangs during install. So I told the machine to go to Apple and do updates. One update it wants to do is 560 meg. The machine hangs trying to run that update.

Everything else runs fine. Any ideas... other than sending it back to CDW?

well, it's linux underneath (BSD) so you might be able to find some error messages in /var/log/system.log and /var/log/install.log that might point you in the right direction. Otherwise, reboot, do the OS update first only, then try the other updates, then try the software install.
