FNH USA will offer a compact when demand, manufacturing capacity, supply of pistols and capital allow for the compact models to be produced. FNH first had to launch the Five-Seven line, FNP line, FNX line and finally launch the FNS line of pistols while developing military arms and other small arms. Regarding the FNX-45, FNX-45 Tactical and FNS Longslide were a recent release to consumers so once these products (FNX & FNS lines) make significant headway in the market place (military, LEA & consumer) then FNH USA may manufacture a compact line for the FNX and/or FNS.
Additional factors are aftermarket products, barrels, parts availability, armorer services and reputation of the current pistols in the market place as well as the service FNH USA provides to customers. There is a lot of competition in the market place and FNH USA is providing dealer and consumer incentives to increase sales so all we can do as consumers/dealers/LGS salesmen is to promote the brand, show brand loyalty, purchase FNH USA products and request aftermarket products from companies. Glock, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Beretta, Walther, Ruger are the greatest competition for FNH USA pistols while SIG Sauer, H&K, Styer and CZ-USA have a very loyal consumer base, compete based on price point or have unique designs (there are many other companies not listed).
(…) Easy Button- FNH USA will make compact pistols if there is a market for them.
