I just used my new Isonoic Ultrasonic cleaner for the first time. Every review I read about this machine was 5 stars. The brass came out clean but not perfect. I used 1 oz of Simple Green to 20 ozs of water. Any advice would be appreciated.

"came out clean but not perfect"

If you want perfect, polish em by hand. expecting anything to be perfect from a machine cleaning is foolish.

I polish with corn cob and flitz after ultrasonic if I'm concerned about beauty.

Just curious, what caliber of brass are you polishing?

Also distilled water in the ultrasonic works better than tap water for some reason. Haven't looked into the science behind it though.

Distilled water, a little vinegar and a smidge of dawn. Don't let the solution sit too long. The vinegar, if too strong, will eat a hole in your tank.
