Ordered the SCAR-17 online and it arrived right before I went on vacation. Finally got to pick it up from the FFL today. Had the Geissele Super SCAR trigger installed and it feels perfect. Can't wait to hit the range and then solve the "optics question".

Thanks, SeaMac. The shop had a Leupold CQ/T that I really liked. A very knowledgeable friend recommended the Elcan Spectre but it's damn pricey. Any feedback on the CQ/T???

Since I live in MD, the rifle had to ship with a 10-round mag. I picked up two 20 round FNH mags at the Chantilly gun show a few weeks back.

+1 The Geissele Super SCAR trigger is a must upgrade imo. I'd look into the Bushnell Elite Tactical scope line. They are quality scopes at a very reasonable price.
