Actually you could do so before for hogs. Great rule change to allow for everything now. And the rule goes into effect immediately.

I'm late to the discussion, and I'm not a hunter, and I only have a 22 suppressor till my paperwork gets done ... so could someone please enlighten me about what this issue is about?

Is there actually a reason that hunters want to use suppressors? Or is this just a step in the direction of getting suppressors unregulated?
I don't hunt either but I imagine ear protection would one of the reasons.
