So I kniw I need to clean the oil off of the bolt carrier that came on it but I noticed there's some white oikish substance on the trigger spring and nearby should I remove this? I read the oiling write up but didnt mention it.

It's grease. I left mine on. When I added an aftermarket spring I greased it too.

I figured that I just didnt know if like the bcg it should be removed. Should I remove the greese from the op rod?

I would wipe everything off everything that you can get to but the trigger group. Put some good oil on it and shoot the crap out of it. Don't worry about every little thing you see inside the rifle. Remember, this thing is a war machine.
