A .22 rifle with Kel Tecs underfolding stock would be kinda slick. I'm all set for .22 cal auto loaders though. ((however I would probably have a lot more guns, and put more rounds through them if I were into collecting rimfires, and not space guns. :p))
Speaking of space guns..
That .308 bullpup is supposed to come out 1st quarter 2008 as well.

The PLR-22 is suppose to retail at around $300 so expect to pay about $200 for it at your dealer.
As for the SU-22, I have not heard any pricing on that.

From what I hear, the PLR-22 uses many of the same parts as the PLR-16 so expect availability to be easy and plenty.

edit:

And YES, the PLR-16 forend will fit on the PLR-22 to give it a mean AR look.
Also the threaded barrel will accept standard AR Flash hiders and breaks.
So instead of the first picture, when you are done with it it can look like my PLR-16.

So if you have the sling over your shoulder and push against it while you shoot, does it offer any support/stability?
For this 5.56NATO version, YES! It gives it the support almost that of a fixed stock.
But when the .22lr version comes out this spring, I doubt you would need the sling for that one.

Those are pretty cool.

Speaking of .22's... I found this in a parts box a couple of days ago. I don't own a Ruger 10/22 but I somehow ended up with a mag for one.

It's a Butler Creek Hot Lips 25 round camo banana mag for the 10/22 77/22 and the AMT Lightning.

If you own a gun that this will fit please say so and I'll send it to you. First to reply gets it.

butler creek hotlips

I've owned two of those butler creek hotlips for more than 10 years. One broke right away, and the other is still going strong. I think the "steel lips" are better. It was the red part that broke on mine, not the lips exactly, a little nub that comes out the side and folds the mag in place.

But yeah, they're not great, you get missfeeds with any pressure on the mag.
