KSG Update

Ok, I have an update on my KSG. After about 1000 or so rounds my forend developed a crack where it connects to the metal bolt carrier. I sent it in to KEL TEC for repair and they replaced the forend and lower receiver and alot of the little inside pieces. Had it back to me in about a week after they received it. Every 15-20 shell it wouldn't eject a shell. I put a couple hundred rounds through it hoping it would break in but it never did. Sent it back to KEL TEC but this time it took forever. 6 weeks later and they shipped it back with a letter saying it was fine everything was in spec and they couldn't make it fail to eject. So I shot it again. 3rd round stuck in chamber. And many more after that. I decided to quit wasting ammo and trade it in. It worked great before they fixed it. But afterwards it was terrible. Now I own a FN SLP. Man is this thing great. Fires as fast as I pull the trigger. Works flawlessly. So happy it turned out the way it did. So after all the KSG praise I've given, now I take it all back. Just figured I would set the record straight.

Most have probs with certain shells! Those cheap walmart WW shells are junk, any silver cased, low brass, shells will stick. You really have to shuck it hard after firing those. Mine works perfect now, after a couple of 100 rounds

Funny, my m4 had no issue with those "junk shells".
Benelli M4 for a Keltech KSG???

No, just NO. The Benelli is a Corvette and the KSG is a Yugo. Don't do it.
Consider yourself very lucky! Go buy a Lottery Ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've run Benelli fighting shotguns since 1988, firing tens of thousands of rounds over the last 26 years and despite having no familiarity with the M4 I'd take it sight unseen over any shotgun made by Kel-Tec.

Wow, I just realized how old I am,lol

When I got my first Benelli M1(121) the stocks were made out of WOOD!
My response was for the Kel Tec!

Nope. Couple of range buddies have m4s as well, no issue there either. Now my KSG on the other hand, haven't had a range trip where it DIDN'T run into problems, regardless of quality of ammunition.

Yeah, but it worked fine for about a thousand rounds. Most of which were cheap rounds. Probably about 700 federal and 100 of the walmart value pack stuff.Even the aguilla minishells would run fine. When I got it back the second time I could no longer trust the gun or the company. A pump shotty should cycle pretty much everything in my opinion. The KSG did until I sent it in for repair.
