Comparing the sound from a Salvo 12 on a KSG in both the 12" and 6" configuration. There is a good bit of difference.

Just picked up an ODG KSG last weekend and mailed my form 4 for the salvo12 in yesterday!
Please keep the progress updated in the tracking thread. I may be buying one at the end of summer.

Very cool. I have an 8" rod kit, but I'm wondering if 10" would be the sweet spot between suppression and length. I haven't tried out the 8" configuration yet.
I just bought the 8" kit too. I will video it this weekend and post.

So.... you sure your wife is not upset about the lawn
A little. I told her its an Armadillo that's putting the holes in the lawn. So of course I need another suppressor to deal with them.

:th_hello: Hey guys, first post here. Stumbled across this site while looking at getting a Fnx 45 as a host for my octane 45 I am waiting on. Have several suppressors in process now including the Salvo.

Thanks Patton250 for posting this vid, as I am also looking for a good host for my Salvo that is coming. The KSG is at the top of my list, was wondering though, have you tried any subsonic rounds in your KSG ? . I don' think there are many factory rounds out there but know Herters makes some low recoil 1050 fps , and also Winchester Low recoil/noise 26 dram 980 fps , along with Federal subsonic metro 900 fps loads. Was curious how that would sound in the KSG, with the Salvo, or if it would have any issues cycling them subsonic rounds.

There is a youtube vid of a Mossberg using the Federal 900 fps with the Salvo and it was extremely quite, but it has a different barrel length. If you happen to stumble across some subsonic rounds I would love to see a vid of them out of the KSG, thanks

Not sure if Midway or Cabelas is the cheapest for these shells, but they are in stock at least. I know Midway has coupons usually for $15 off a new order of a $100 I believe for a new customer, or just use the wifes email or whoevers lol

Here are the Federal I was referring to at Midway
Federal Top Gun Low Recoil Subsonic Ammo 12 Ga 2-3/4 1-1/8oz #7-1/2

And the Winchester 980 Fps
Winchester AA Low Recoil Target Ammo 12 Ga 2-3/4 7/8oz #8 Shot

Herters 1050 fps at cabelas
Herter's® Field and Target Loads – Per Case : Cabela's

Here is also the youtube vid of the salvo on a Mossberg 930 Jm firing first regular 1145 fps loads then using the Federal 900 fps loads I have linked here. Sounds like a pretty big difference. Surprised the Mossberg cycled the 900Fps load actually , I know my Benelli M1 will not cycle them. Its the excuse  and reason I am looking at a pump like the KSG.

I ordered the Federal. I'll do a video on it next week. Can't wait to see if my Benelli M4 will cycle it. Thanks man.

No problem, look forward to seeing how the KSG sounds with the subsonics. You might get lucky with your M4, with the added back pressure from the Salvo and lubed well, it just may cycle them. I know my M1 cycled the Herters 1050 fps just fine, but wouldn't on the Win 980 fps or the Fed 900 fps rounds. I still have while before getting mine, I am about a month into the Form 4

One more question for you, are you using the Silencerco adapter on your KSG for the Salvo ? I know before Silencerco made the KSG adapter, I think ppl would just replace the muzzle nut and use a mossberg thread adapter or something like that from Kel-Tec ? I assume the adapter from Silencerco they make now is all thats needed for the Salvo to thread on ? Thanks

I bought the KSG adaptor as well as one for my Remington, Benllie M4, Benllie Super Black Eagle II and for Mossberg all from Silencer Shop. The Salvo accessories ad up quick. Lol
