Giving serious consideration to buying a AK. Mostly becasue they are still somewhat available and priced better than the crazy AR market right now. I can get a Century Arms WASR AK47 from a local dealer for about $600.00 out the door. Comes with 2 30rd mags a bayonet and sling and oil can. For about another $150 I can get a Lancaster Arms AKM. Is the Lancaster worth the extra $? What are the major differences between the two. I am new to this part of the gun market.
I know with the Lancaster I won't have to worry about sight cant or the magazine well being sloppy. Are there any other advantages or things I need to watch for?

I have a Lancaster and had a Wasr. The Lancaster is a smoother operating rifle. A greater level of craftsmanship is demonstrated in the Lancaster build. Unfortunately the Lancaster does not resist rust as well as the Wasr. Just my opinion. :?
