So how exactly is this supposed to work? How do they tell a pre-ban mag from a post-ban mag? Does everyone in CO. have to take their existing mags and get them registered somehow? Or is it just a ban on the sales within the state and shipment into the state? If you drive to Kansas and buy some, are you breaking the new law to transport them back across state lines?

If you go ahead and place and pay for an order with MLI, their lawyers have unequivocatingly stated they will be able to send you those mags post ban if and when they make some down the road.

As of July 1st all mags made in and or imported into the state of Co greater then 15 rds will have to have a date of manufacture stamped on them and an individual serial number. This is why Magpul is moving its mag line out of state
