Yeah, I paid 1700.00 for mine with the FNH red dot sight on it. I would have felt a lot better if I paid 1100.00 for it. My wife wasn't happy at all after I bought it while she was out of town.
FN's price structure on PS90's is really wonky. The old $800.00ish MIL/LE price is well below commercial dealer price but above LE distributor price. FN changed LE distributor price to be more in line with commercial distributor pricing and that also raised the MIL/LE price.
I was planning on getting one as my next purchase. At $800, it would be worth it but at over $1K, I think I'm going to pass on it. Oh well, that's $1,000 closer to getting a Bushmaster ACR.
No luck so far, but I'll keep searching. $1200 is more than I feel the bullpup is worth. Riverofguns.com, slickguns, Google, with no luck below $1100 right now, but a few said to inquire so I have and awaiting a price.
The MIL price was also only good if you were active duty or retired, not for those of us that served but got out prior to retirement. Sucked, my 10 years in didn't cut it for the discount.
I was unable to pass up a LE/MIL model this past December- the deal extends to Public Safety, so I was able to get it for $950.00. That was in eastern PA.
Keep searching !
i got mine for $1200 last month at a LGS which I thought was a good price, and that included the store's veteran discount.
If I would have known that online places discount even more for LE/veterans, I would have gladly paid $50 for the FFL transfer instead and also have saved in nearly $100 more for the sales tax.
This is where I'm kicking myself in the @$$. When I paid $1200 for mine, I thought I was paying full price (see post #9 ) but when I went back to the LGS, I kinda complained and that's when they revealed to me that I got the store veteran's discount.
Online store like these give much better MIL/LE discounts even with FNH's price increase.
Since these guys are out of stock, I can take solace in knowing I would still not have a PS90 if I ordered from them.
I dont quite think it's going that high. In less than a year, they raised it from $799.00 to $1,221.00
I think they are going to see a sharp drop in sales even at the current price.
