I've been reloading .223 cartridges for about a year now, and with the recent spike in ammo cost have decided to reload 9mm...have all components expect the darn die set from LEE...ordered from Midway in late Dec. 2012, now BO till May 24th...

DOES ANYONE OUT THERE NOW OF A DECENT PRICED WEBSITE TO BUY FROM WITHOUT GETTING GOUGED!

Thanks in Advance!

I had the same problem with RCBS 9mm dies. I ended up just doing a search and any website that came up I went to and signed up for notifications for them. I got lucky on Monday Manventrue Outpost had a few come in and was able to get a set. I would have never been able to find them without the email alert though they were out in about 30mins. My advice is to just sign up for as many email alerts as you can and hope you get lucky.

Very good advice..I put aside a bit of time to look for as many websites which sold what I was looking for. I signed up for a lot of email alerts. Since my browser can input the fields for me it did not take long if I had to register for a site. The email alert from Man Venture Outpost gave me the opportunity to get some SCAR 17 magazines. And other alerts have helped me too.

Everything is gone from everywhere. Even though I have all the supplies I need it still makes me shoot much less than I want because I know I can't find primers or powder as common as before the frenzy

I'm thinking your best bet is going to be some local place that just gets a shipment in. But it is much more of a pain to call or go into a store every day than to click a website or wait for an email

You might want to keep an ear open for local shot shows where you can find used dies, partial boxes of primers and projectiles. You could always take out a want ad in the local newspaper. Just trying to throw out some ideas. During these times it is important to have a good reloading buddy. It is much easier to cover all the basis if you share componets and materials between a couple of you. More eys and ears the better.

I have not gotten a shipping notice yet, but noticed today that Palmetto State Armory has RCBS 9mm dies listed as in-stock: RCBS 3-DIE CARB TC SET 9MM LUGER/9MM 20515

They do not have the shell holder #16 in stock, so you will need to do an extra order with midway to get the holder.

I also ordered last week from Manventure Outpost, but then got the dreaded inventory issue/out of stock e-mail a few hours later.

I got my shipping notice from Palmetto State Armory today, and the RCBS 9mm dies are still listed as in stock. There are very few places that have them listed as in stock, so if you need them, this may be the time to order. All of the estimated in stock dates I have seen are in late April.
