Although I disagree with some of the views expressed in this forum, I have a great deal of respect for anyone who makes a well reasoned argument. That said, in 4 or 5 sentences, what would be your stump speech and campaign slogan for 2012?

Is this too long? If I were to reallt sit down and write one I could make it a lot better, but here is a rough starting draft.

If elected, I will work to simplify the tax system to a flat rate based on income, no loopholes, no favorites, no freebies. I will privatize Social Security allowing people to invest the funds as they see fit, while working toward a way to get rid of that system forever. By not taking that money from people they can choose to take that money and do with it as they wish. I will push for line items veto’s and term limits on Senators. I will secure the border, stop Mexican trucks from entering the States, and work with the home countries of illegal aliens on a process to return their citizens to them. I will push for a law that will punish employers for hiring illegal’s with very heavy prison terms and fines so large that it may be necessary to confiscate the assets of their companies in order to sell them off to pay the fines. We are going to level the field on trade and make it desirable for companies to move to the US instead of fleeing it. We will look at every Government agency and program, and cut everything that is not absolutely necessary to the security of the nation and its infrastructure. The time for all these socialist programs is over. We are going back to the Constitution and the plans of our fore Fathers that were responsible for making this country great to start with. Thank you

Excellent, I'd vote for you. You need a catchy bumper sticker slogan.

Hmmm... "Back to the Future"

It's hard to include everything in a short stump speech. I didn't address abortion, the 2A, Health Care, energy, the housing crisis...

What about your stump speech?

No more pork, no more favors, no more corruption, no more pandering, no more politics, no more partisanship. Get back to core values.

Secure the borders, and get back to the constitution.

I'll have to figure out a way to fit "Don't Taze Me Bro" onto my election signs

If elected, I would end illegal immigration. End pork filled spending bills. End unconstitutional gun control laws. End addiction to foreign oil. Make the tax laws so simple a 6th grader could understand it. End sexual predators- one strike and your out. Secure our ports. Make health care a mandatory class in schools 6-12 with the same weight as reading and math. End warrentless wiretapping and disband the NSA, ATF and a bunch of other worthless terds. All High school graduates that are physically able, will serve 2 years in the military (they can choose the 2 years between their 18th and 22nd birthdays.) Stop borrowing money from communist china to fund nation building. Tell the UN to find a new home outside the US. I will make prisons a place you don’t want to go to (Death Valley is a great place for a prison).

I believe in a free market economy without government intervention - Darwinism on a global economic scale. Let the sustainable companies survive, let the mismanaged or unproductive companies fail. Let the market drive growth in sectors with a future . End our dependence on foreign capital and cut government spending to the absolute minimum. Eliminate the Dept of Education, the IRS, the EPA, NASA and every other government bureaucracy spending tax payer dollars on programs that should be supported by private industry or regulatory offices that should be handled at the state level. Let state and local government dictate social policies - gun control, taxes, abortion, education, etc. Pull out of Iraq, pull out of Afghanistan. Pull out of Saudi Arabia and South Korea and Europe. Close our borders.

Globalization in free markets and isolation in foreign policy.

Interesting choice. Do you think she has a future in politics? Will she ever be able to put distance between her and Bush?

Hard to say. McCain probably wishes he would have picked her. The media and the dems would be very carefull about attacking a black women. And she has tons of foreign relations experience.

I kinda wish McCain woul have picked her. I always felt she was closer aligned with Powell than with Cheney and Bush. It would have been an interesting ticket. Palin really secured the base but I think she continues to push independents away. I wonder how much damage Palin has done to her political future.

I also wonder about Jindal from Louisiana. I dont now much about him but he might have been an interesting pick as well. Seems to handle himself well but dont know where he stands on the issues.

I didn't know that Condi Rice was a model. Huh, I guess she is qualified to be Mccains VP. LOL

On a serious note. What has Condi accomplished? I can't think of one thing that she has done/done right.
