I didn't really mess with the safety on my Five Seven on my 1st range trip. But at home, I see how U do it - use the trigger finger - sorta like I do with the mag release on my HK and P99s.

I like it - it is convienient.

Hope to get it out the first of the month.

Anyone here have factory night sights on theirs?

I'm satisfied with nice bright white sights - I like them because my indoor range is too dark for all black sights, but not dark enough for the tritium to glow.

Next time I shoot it, I wanna try just using the front sight. The front blade is so long that it seems like this might work well.

yeah ship. I use the front sight for the first shot after I draw.
And yeah, I like the safety.
I've finally decided the mag safety is a very cool feature too.

Yes, some people get bent out of shape about this - I have no problem with it.

Hey Turbo! It's Blake from Tennessee. My other supplier in Wisconsin had a meeting with his FN Rep today and I should know tomorrow if the factory night sights are available yet. If so, I'll post the suggested retail, and when I get it in, some pics.

safety

Does it really FN matter what the post date is?
Did our members expire or just move on to another cheese ball forum?
I was thinking this forum was a class act?

it's called necroposting

it's just one of those things that when you do it, expect to get a little flack for it on any forum, even if it is for a completely legitimate reason

I don't use my trigger finger for the safety at all. I use my support hand thumb since it sits right next to it. If I had to shoot one handed then I would use my trigger finger. The support hand thumb is "much" faster to operate.
