I am trying to decide between the T1 micro and the M4S. I have looked at all the specs. and am aware of the physical differences. Was just wondering if anyone here on the forum has real world experience with both and can tell me which they prefer and why.

I have a T1 on my PS90 SBR also...simply can't be beat for size, reliability and durability. I also have a couple PROs and a Comp M3. They're all great RDS. But it's hard to beat the T1 as an overall package. Except perhaps the T2, which I haven't gotten my greasy fingers on yet.

I own Both the T1 on a Tavor and the M4S on my SCAR. The T1 is lighter and smaller but I really enjoy using it. The M4 is bigger and heavier and is right at home on the scar. The only thing that favors the M4 is it uses AA batteries and they are everywhere. That said , Ive used the the T1 micro on several weps, AR's, SCAR, Tavor and even a Ruger 10/22, If I had to choose one , Id keep The T1 Micro.

I have several T1 and H1's along with M2's M3's, ML3's and had one M4. I like the compact size of the Mirco's and don't feel the smaller optic has much restricted field of view running both eye's open. Some of the guys I shoot with have EOTechs and they don't like the Micros, they feel it's a smaller sight picture but I guess it's just cause of what they are use to. I loose sight of the body of the sight and focus on the dot, for me both the Micro's and the full size M2/M3's are as quick on target.

The M4 I had was awesome both for durability and battery life, while the weight wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but the size and weight just made it seem bulkier than I'd like. I did sell it off and I don't feel like it was a mistake replacing it with a M3 with the 2MOA dot.

There is a visible difference in the clarity of the dot between the H1 and T1, which is why I have two T1s. Plus NVGs are on my list of toys to buy. I haven't seen the T2 yet, but it's supposed to be even better and crisper than the T1. This is only an issue if you have astigmatism. I have an Aimpoint pro as well. It actually is easier to see through. Better light transmission than the micros. What gun are putting it on? For a ps90 or vector I'd go micro. For full size AR or SCAR I'd choose the Aimpoint pro. It's a bargain and works perfect.
