Simple and age old question, why do professionals end up shelling out way more for the M4, it's because of the collapsible stock which allows proper use with body armor, so the question is first, are there any aftermarket collapsible stock options I might not know about, and second, are there any qualified persons or companies who can cut down the SLP stock to a shorter length of pull to accommodate use with body armor? Thanks in advance........

You can only go to about a 13" LOP stock.

The Recoil spring tube is the main limiting factor here. Any shorter and the recoil spring tube will be sticking out of your recoil pad.

Any stock made for a Remington 870/1100 can be made to work on an SLP. Its not a drip in but with a dremel or hand files its not far from it.
