Mag release button sticking on FNX45

Has anyone had this issue? When I depress the mag release button on my FNX 45, it sticks and does not return to the standard position. I am thinking it is the spring but not sure.

Gunk does get guilt up in there. Mine was having the same issue, took it out and cleaned it up (and some of the polymer edges a little just to be sure) and it's working fine now.

Leseter's method is a lot easier that pulling the spring and taking it out to clean it.
