First Post. This forum has a ton of excellent information. It is a huge help. Now for my first question. Sorry if it has been answered.

I have seen a few posts saying that the sights are interchangeable. I am just not seeing the tall night sights for sale.

I have both the FNX 45 Tactical and and FNX 40 (just recieved). I am wanting to add night sights to the new FNX 40. I am wondering if the trijicon night sights will be tall sights or if they are available in "tall" sights. I really like the supressor height sight picture on the 45. I also have AAC Ti-Rant 45 incoming with an extra piston for 1/2 x 28. The plan is to get an EFK threaded 9mm barrel so I have the option of running the supressor on the FNX in its 9mm configuration.

So in short, if I can get tall night sights for the FNX 40 that would be great. If they could match the FNX 45 Tactical's that would be perfect.

There are after-market suppressor sights available for FN's. Ameriglo has suppressor height sights. You can also get the Trijicon ones for the FNX 45. POI may shift though from what you're used to.

Thanks Dan. I emailed Trijicon and they said the sights they sell are not suppressor height. They simply provide the tritium tubes for FN's sights. I was hoping to have a matching sight picture across platforms. I also hoped that the point of impact would not experience to much change since both sights (from and rear) should be raised equally. Of course they are made for a 45 and not a 40/9.

Sold out, not sure how long. Ameriglo has theirs in stock. They use Trijicon inserts, but I don't think the rear is serrated like the ones on the FNX 45 Tac's.

Thanks. I now feel like an incompetent boob, since they are plainly listed. MY google fu was weak. I was using FNX and tall or supressor in the search bar etc.
