Yea, the newest batch that has been updated with metal rails should be available now. Also they came out with a new replacement grip that doesn't have the P90 style grip.

8) Brian of Monolith Arms has a new tri-rail, the FS-V2, for the FS2K that looks kick-ass (see link below)! I was fortunate to be one of the few to be able to order one from his initial batches. More are coming as I'm sure some of you owners out there will be interested. I prefer this version than the initial PS90 version, since it:

1. maintains the original futuristic lines of the 2K,
2. is a cleaner looking unit than the initial version,
3. and adds more attachment point functionally than the FN version (which had none!).

I'll post pics once it arrive and I've had a chance to attach it to the 2K.

But for now just check out his website, he's got a great looking example of the product, and I'm sure all current 2K owners will want one as soon as you see it.

I would give them a call (number is on the webpage), since the last I heard they still had some of the original (PS90 look-a-like) versions, and I don't know whether they plan to carry both versions or discontinue the old.

They are still making the old style but the latest batch might all be spoken for you'd have to contact them to find out.

Here are a couple shots for comparison. Top picture is the new style with metal rail and the bottom pic is the old style. The shine isn't anywhere close to as as as the picture makes it out to be on the top picture.

For what its worth I have used both of these and I prefer the new style hands down. I liked the style and look of the p90 grip, but I have found that the rifle is much easier to shoot for me with the traditional vert grip along with the longer rail for placement. You can mount a grip on the old style as well but you can't expect full functionality of a combat rifle due to the polymer rails.

Man, that V2 setup looked outstanding..... right up until I saw the price.

Also, I just had a look around the "other" place, and it seems that Monolith Arms has been purchased by a yet-announced arms manufacturer. But don't worry, both rail systems and the P12 are confirmed moving ahead.

Yea, here's an update. Don't do business with them. I've defended them in the past but I just can't do it anymore. It's been over a year since I originally ordered a PS-90 style front grip from them and still haven't received it. They used to return emails and phone calls but it's been quite awhile since that has happend. If it wasn't for the fact that other people here have gotten stuff from them I would think they were some sort of fly by night operation that just takes your money. I would have to say they are the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Once the transition is completed in regards to the new ownership, will they continue to supply the older style Monolith Arms or will they be only be offering the newer release model?
