Mounting light & laser switches

Has anyone else had trouble mounting pressure switches for lights and lasers on their PS90s? I have sticky-tape to Velcro on my two switches, but the tape doesn't stick well to the plastic stock. Any success stories or bright ideas would be appreciated!

Nary a problem..

I had velcro on the front portion of the stock for over 3 years - I just took it off a couple of months ago because I have a different laser, and I took the old velcro off and added new velcro in a different spot...

I also have had velcro in the ejection port area for about 4 years now.

I agree with ship, perpect place for pressure switch. YOu can put it on the other side too. I keep my thumb paralell to the bore anyhow, my thumb on the reloading hand has no business being in the trigger area.

My advice is go to the nearest craft and/or sewing machine place and buy the velcro in the packets. You can put the fuzzy velcro part on your rifle generiously... to receive your pressure switch with the grabby part of the velcro.

I bought my velcro at Wal-Mart in the sewing section.

I use it a lot actually. I put some on my MSAR near the ejection port - as ejected cases hit the polymer stock and can ding it up.

I also have a Mustang, and the plastic console by my knee is very close to my right leg. When driving, that hard plastic edge would bother my knee (I have bad knees).

So, I put velcro on the side, and got one of those seatbelt cushions you can buy (long, thin pillow basically). Got one in black, and velcroed it on the side.

Now, my leg rests against the pillow instead of the hard plastic. Yea for velcro :)

make sure you clean the surface before sticking the velcro backing on. simple light soap and water works fine as long as your hands are also clean. i bought a roll of velcro at walmart.

here's my pressure switch locations including the soft velcro on the butt stock for us skinny guys.

I put some velcro on the bottom trigger guard/handle so i don't scratch it when shooting off a bench or something solid.

velcro'd cheek pad (it was extra padding from my range bag).

even though the recoil is negligible, my boney colar bone still feels it. that thin strip of velcro does a good job.

Someone here on the forum hard wired two micro switches to the grip area and on the front hand guard below the barrel installed two jacks, One was for the light the other for the laser.

No problem. I had just read it a few hours before I saw this thread; and like you, I hard a difficult time finding it.

Perhaps it's because the thread title doesn't mention anything about lasers, switches or mods to the stock.

Glad I could help.
