The cheapest 338 ammo now is around $3/rd😓. Assuming you have plenty stocked up. Otherwise it’s a pain to shoot every round.

Very nice combination but you need to start thinking about getting either a Thunder Beast or AAC Titan to make it more pleasant to shoot

Just a heads up. I have 338 and 308. I haven’t shot the 338 yet however the 308 is the loudest rifle i have ever fired. Even wearing hearing protection, my ears were ringing. I assume it is the muzzle brake design. I recommend wearing double hearing protection. As far as a suppressor, that is my preference however you may see from searches that the jamb nut design adds complication to the install. Someone on the forum had an adapter created with reported success.

Yeah suppressor would be nice, when I had the TRG I would wear ear plugs and then muffs over that as the brake was loud.
