I thought about the FiveSeven but I am not really that fond of it, grip is a little too big, and they want $900 for it in my area.

I agree about the 92F, it's on my list.
Also need a 1911, that may be the next one.

Are you talking about the flared entrance on the gun for the magazines?

Most 1911s have a bevel - a slight angle inside the edge of where U insert the magazine.

I'm talking about a magwell - like this:

I personally don't like the look of it - it's just going to be a range gun so speed loading is not important

Not sure if that's the kimber i am going with, but i sure do like the looks of it.

My brother carries a Kimber. I can't remember if it's the Ultra Carry II or the Pro Carry II. But he just loves it. I'm tempted to get one myself... too many guns, not enough time/money...
