I recently acquired a fs2000 ran a few mags through it and enjoy it so far. I'm interested new barrels but apparently when its done u can't get a new one. I plan to keep it as is and add a optic and sling

Congrats man and I hope you enjoy. I love my FS2000 and being a lefty; it really does come in handy except for the location of the charging handle.

Thanks happy to be here I just traded my fn509T for a fn ar15 I was somewhat disappointed in it

Congratulations! How hard are they to find in the US now? It's been years since I saw any new ones in Canada (and I bought the last one i saw!). I've found that optics designed for the AR15 can sometimes sit a little high for me, and if I can get a mount that's a bit lower (like the American Defense mount for my current FS2000's ACOG) I find I get a better fit.

Congratulations after hundreds of rounds fired on mine The internals remains clean which is quite remarkable The piston is pretty easy to keep clean with any cleaner that breaks up carbon (I use Gunslicks Foaming Bore Cleaner)
