My New FNX 45 just arrived!!! I own several AR's and Hunting Rifles, but this is my Very first Pistol that I actually own. Iv been wanting a pistol for a long time but I'm kinda picky so Iv been doing a lot of research an reading an the FNX 45 seemed like the way to go. I really liked the FNX 45 Tac but with the big price difference an the threaded barrel I'll probably never use I just decided to go with this model. I also wanted a pistol in FDE w/ Black Slide, and I really like the FDE on the FNX 45 over the FDE on the FNX 45 Tac.
As for mods I plan on making, right now I'm working on getting the Adapter plates and having the slide milled for an RMR and plan on getting a Laser/Light Combo.


Any Tips or Tricks for a New Owner would be Greatly Appreciated !!!

Read the Owner's Manual and check out the Newbie's Guide for tips and choose your break-in ammo carefully as under-powered ammo can cause feeding/lock-back issues. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

I just bought the exact Same gun the day after Christmas and it is my first pistol also, but i bought the upula mag loader and love it because after loading the 13th round or so it was hard on my thumbs but it is getting better.

How'd I forget that? Uplula Mag Loader's are great. That was one of the first things I got when I got my first pistol.
